Great backpack! Absolutely love it! I have two schnauzers and two yorkies! They all have their own with name tags! Don’t forget to order that as well so you are all set on your first outing! I use the backpacks to go bike riding! They know they’re in for a treat! Not so much when we go for walks, at least at the beginning because they wanna explore everything! Later on about after aprox km 6 they start jumping to get in the k9 sack! So definitely 100% satisfied!

My dog hates backpacks… I’ve bought three different types before this one. He loves it. So worth it

I bought lots of packs only to return them. Not to mention my dog hated them. He loves this backback. It makes him feel secure. I took him for a bike ride in it. The backpack did not sway on my back. I felt confident, as well as he did, and safe with him in it. It took two times of introducing him to it before he started to go in it with no problem. It is expensive but worth every penny in my opinion. My dog fits in the small. I was concerned as I am 5 7″ but no problem. You must remember you get what you pay for. It also did not pull on my back like all the others did. I will buy it again when this one wears out.

We are headed off to Yosemite! Even though I cannot bring my dog on the actual trails in Yosemite, we will be hiking all around there as well so I thought this would be a better option that a side sling.Pros:Love the color choicesLove that you have personalization optionsHelpful pockets throughoutGreat backpack supportClear instructions with videos as wellCons:Need to create options/solutions for dogs that are smaller

Good product – in the small, my 5 lb. pup was snug and happy (good thing too since she got carsick and drooled en route). A lovely thing to take her on my walks. I have a feeling I’ll get lots of use out of the sack especially when spring is here.

I use this backpack for bike rides with my dog. On the first day I gave him a treat for sitting in the bag, another treat when I zipped him up, and another when I put the pack on my back. After the first ride he didn’t need any more convincing. Now he wants to go every time he sees me grab the bike. Getting the right sized pack is tough if your dog has odd proportions, like shot legs. Not sure what could be done to address that without making the sizing chats even more complicated.I’ve tried a bike trailer but I like using this backpack over a trailer because it weighs practically nothing, it doesn’t impede mobility on my bike, and I’m out the door in less time. (No trailer hitch to mess with nor extra tires to air up).I’ve worn down a few bags. I’m on my third one now. They tend to last about 2000 miles. But each time I get a replacement, I notice little improvements in things like the mesh, clip placement, and zipper overhangs. Usually the parts that wore out on the last bag have been slightly modified. It’s good to know that the people making these care enough to keep making them better. I haven’t found other back packs that look like they can match the quality of these. I know I’ll be getting another when my current pack is beyond repair.Once strapped in, the dog’s hind legs are relatively confined. If your dog dog has arthritis, or you notice his/her joins are stiff when waking up from long naps, start with short rides and work your way up slowly. After each ride I always have my dog run around so I can check his joints. My dog’s limit is about 1 hour. He used to be good for hours but he’s getting older. If you have long hair, make sure to secure it well or the dog’s paws might pull on it if he/she shuffles around while on your back. Like if your dog is prone to suddenly jumping at squirrels, it can really make your chill ride take a turn.

Great little sack and my pug loves it. Fortunately it can get too hot in the summer here in Texas so I don’t use it during the hot months. But during the cool months and for hiking it’s great. He usually just falls asleep. Parrot with some goggles for the dog and he goes on bike rides with me. Got a small for my 15 to 20 lb pug cuz he’s not long enough to fill up a bigger sack. The side vents are great but the vinyl material overall keeps it hot so keep in mind for hotter climates. If the whole thing was made out of mesh as a light pack that might be more usable in South Texas.
